Re: showing downloads
Hi May, I played around here and discovered that I could show or hide the tool bar in safari. View menu / hide toolbar or view menu / show toolbar. With the toolbar hidden I could not get the download button using the item chooser and command option L did not work. With the toolbar shown I could use command option L whether I was downloading or not and I could find the download button with the item chooser. Could you check your view menu for us and let us know if your tool bar is hidden? If hidden, the menu option will read, show toolbar. Please press enter on it in that case and report if that solves your problem. Thanks, James Yam On Mar 2, 2014, at 5:50 AM, May mcdonald@gmail.com wrote: I use to have that option. Re: showing downloads
what about on the dock? will safari show download progress on the download when safari is on the dock? Could you check your view menu for us and let us know if your tool bar is hidden? If hidden, the menu option will read, show toolbar. Yes, I did check to make sure and I can see the toolbar. This is quite strange. Re: showing downloads
Hmm, I actually never thought of looking there. Just checked since I'm downloading things and I can see it on the doc. Wow, thanks everyone. Still puzzling the other way on how it disappeared, but this way works too.
