But I haven’t been using it for a very very long time.

Re: ventura

2022-10-03 Thread Michael Irons
Hi Laurie, a friend of mine had a MacBook Air from 2014. He tried to go to
Monterey, but, his machine crashed. He ended up going back to Big Sur. My 2015
MacBook Air will run Monterey with a few problems. I get messages that the mail
program is not responding, and, safari keeps coming up with having no windows.
I was in that Monterey seems to be able to work on the machine that I have
right now.

Hi!
Ventura would not run on. Such old Mac.
Sadly.
Unless you do some sort of fiddling with something you might find on google.

Re: ventura

2022-10-02 Thread 'Mary Ward' via MacVisionaries
I am pretty sure that Ventura can’t be run on anything older than 2018. That’s
a big jump, but that is what I thought they said. I have had Macs that were no
longer able to upgrade to the latest OS. You don’t get offered an upgrade that
your machine can’t run.

Given Apple’s attention to details, I suspect that if your Mac cannot operate
on Ventura, you won’t be given the opportunity to upgrade.
