Are you able to check the database and see if the date is being saved
correctly or not?
Please check the "completiondate" column of the "artefact_plans_task"
table - is it being saved as previous day at database level?
- if it is then it'll be a read / display at browser level problem
but
- if it isn't then can I get you to check the timezone and offset values
on the database.
You'll need to login to the database with the values that the Mahara
logs in with
For postgres
you can get the timezone: SELECT current_setting('TIMEZONE');
and offset: SELECT EXTRACT(TIMEZONE FROM now())/3600.0 AS tz_offset;
For mysql
you can get the timezone: SELECT @@global.time_zone, @@session.time_zone;
and offset: SELECT TIMESTAMPDIFF(HOUR, UTC_TIMESTAMP(), NOW()) AS tz_offset;

Datepicker saves wrong date (1 day back)

Bug description:
When creating a new 'task' under 'plans'
(/artefact/plans/new.php?id=x) or editing a task
(/artefact/plans/edit/task.php?id=) the date i select for
'completion date' is being saved incorrectly.
I select '2019/10/31' in the datepicker.
The input field shows '2019/10/31' correctly.
After I click 'save task' it then shows '2019/10/30' in the task overview.
(which is one day before my selected date)
This only happens when I select a date which is in winter time (Winterzeit
MEZ: UTC+1)
It doesn' happen when I select a date which is in summer time (Sommerzeit
MESZ: UTC+2)
Under siteconfiguration i have set country and timezone correctly.
I can imagine thatthe problem is somewhere in the conversion to UTC,
but i dont know how to fix it in my case.

That is not the theme default colour though but the default colour seen on the page when getting to the skin's page for the first time. Now that we are having header background images and we expect people to only want to change that background rather than build a full skin, it would be better if the "Default" option was the theme default colours for these options so that the only thing that changes is the header background image. So instead of having "Default" as option, we'll have "Theme default" and no value saved for the skin as it will inherit the colour from the theme. This should be done for all colours on the "Text" tab. To replicate: 1. Create a skin. 2. Change the background image. 3. Tick the "Default" options for the font colour options. 4. Add a "Text" block with a link to a page that has the skin. Expected result: The link is displayed in the theme's regular link colour. Actual result: The link is displayed in blue, i.e. the skin's default colour. [Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1846994] [NEW] Mozilla Backpack needs to be deprecated
Public bug reported: The Mozilla Open Badges Backpack does not exist anymore. Therefore, we should not be trying to connect to the server and pull badges. Furthermore, any badges that came from Mozilla Backpack won't be displayed anymore. It would be good to show a note in the block on the display and edit screens to that effect to let people know why badges are not displayed rather than simply not displaying them. At minimum these things will need to be dealt with: - Remove Mozilla as backpack source from config-defaults - Remove Mozilla from being searched for as backpack - Display a message in the Open Badges block about Mozilla Backpack not being available anymore when badges had been selected from it (if we keep that information somewhere in the database). [Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1846972] [NEW] Skin text colour defaults should default to the theme colours
Public bug reported: When you set up a skin, the font colours have a "Default" option. That is not the theme default colour though but the default colour seen on the page when getting to the skin's page for the first time. Now that we are having header background images and we expect people to only want to change that background rather than build a full skin, it would be better if the "Default" option was the theme default colours for these options so that the only thing that changes is the header background image. So instead of having "Default" as option, we'll have "Theme default" and no value saved for the skin as it will inherit the colour from the theme. This should be done for all colours on the "Text" tab. To replicate: 1. Create a skin. 2. Change the background image. 3. Tick the "Default" options for the font colour options. 4. Add a "Text" block with a link to a page that has the skin. Expected result: The link is displayed in the theme's regular link colour.
