Re: [MlMt] [OT-ish] Local Dovecot - step-by-step instructions or plug-and-play .app/VM/container

2019-02-20 Thread Robert Brenstein
if this is a one-time browsing need, get the demo of Mail Archiver X and
import your MBOX files into a single archive or each into its own
archive. Then you can browse them basically like in a mail program.

Or better yet, does anyone know of a plug-and-play .app/VM/container

Re: [MlMt] caret position in replies

2019-02-20 Thread Annamarie Pluhar

I’m not sure that this is it…

Does she have “signature” at the top?

Meaning when the reply email is open where does she want her signature?
Top or bottom? I have mine at top and I think MM remembers this choice.

Let us know if that’s the answer.

Thanks for that pointer. It's very fast in comparison to text expander. Thanks

This is what I do, except that I also copy the message to a
"Stationery" mailbox (the term Eudora used), to make it easy to find.
When I want to send such a message, I select it in the "Stationery"
mailbox and then select Edit as New Message under the Message menu.

The way I use "templates" is to create them in Typinator (I moved away
from Textexpander) since I tend to use different apps and doesn't want
to set them up in each app.

I use xType, which is free, very simple, quite old and I am not sure it
is still updated, but in my hands he has been working OK for several
