Re: [MlMt] Second instance of MailMate
I wouldn't recommend this. Having two copies of MM updating these important files on which it relies via a shared folder in real time is probably going to lead to corruption. In fact, I just found this old comment from Benny when someone else was trying to do something similar (from https://mailmate.freron.narkive.com/C29rlbuH/mlmt-sync-mailmate-settings): Currently I've got a symlink set up via dropbox for the files in ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/ except Just be aware that you cannot run more than one instance of MailMate when doing this. You must quit/start MailMate on your machines to make sure you do not loose any settings. So be careful! -Eric On 16 Jun 2020, at 10:50, Verdon Vaillancourt wrote: If you mean keeping two separate installs insyinc over time, I believe there has been discussion on the list, in regards to using something like dropbox to store your settings, and aliasing to it in each computer’s ~/Library/Application Support/Mailmate dir. There's a tool ripMIME (https://pldaniels.com/ripmime/) that appears to do what you want. I haven't played with it, though. If you mean keeping two separate installs insyinc over time, I believe there has been discussion on the list, in regards to using something like dropbox to store your settings, and aliasing to it in each computer’s ~/Library/Application Support/Mailmate dir. [MlMt] Smart Mailboxes out of sync
Dear MailMate experts, I have made a mistake: To setup mailmate on one particular computer, I simply copied my setup files from “Library/Application Support/MailMate” to that computer (Tags.plist, Identities.plist, Sources.plist, Mailboxes.plist, Submission.plist). This has worked great so far, but in this particular case the problem is that Mailmate was already used previously, at a time when my email was on a different IMAP provider. The result is that I now have a lot of duplicate mails in all my smart folders. For the duplicates it says “- Unknown” under Source Mailbox, where it normally would give the source. My interpretation of this is that somehow mailmate still has these messages, although there is no longer a source account associated with them. Is there a good way to get rid of the duplicates (by forcing mailmate to rebuild its cache from the currently available sources)? Or should I just delete all of Mailmates data (how do I do that, actually) and start over? Best wishes, Stefan ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate

Re: [MlMt] Saving selected emails + attachments for legal proof ?
Hi Yes, but I need the attachments too...print doesn't do that. I had a similar issue in the past and ended doing this in Outlook + third party tool. I used [PstViewer](https://www.encryptomatic.com/pstviewer/) with good success I don't think you can achieve what you want with MailMate (happy to be disproven). A.
