The 2.0 web page still appears on Google when searching for mailmate and 
links to the 2.0 beta release.

Bottom line, yes you would definitely be better off on the 5xxx 
versions, and using the option key when checking for updates to get 
the latest test releases of the 1.x branch.

MailMate version numbers always confuse me. I’m using MailMate 6151, 
apparently the latest version available but I think that’s a 2.0 beta 
version. It doesn’t appear to update very often and I sometimes wonder 
if I would be better using 5xxx versions.
