Allo Cor ;) any feedback from the Dutch speaking list on my message ?
Can I post it now (completed of course) ? Thanks

Alas no ideas from that list. I am happy to see my posts there on
bug-hunting as a mid-term investment ;-)

So feel free to post as is - it is great.

Cheers,
Cor

 Hi all,

I would like to draft a message to attract QA people to work on bug

something fun, attractive and that have enough info however to let people

 - you have at least one hour of free time per week

- you are able to read English, even poor
 - you know how to follow instructions with imagination

If you are able to answer yes to these questions, then, you're are the
lucky winner of an unconfirmed_bug! Please check your prize here [bug number
to be confirmed]. To know how to retrieve it, join this list, we will help
you to win even more, etc.

Hi Sophie,

I liked the message. It's funny and show the requirements the person should
has to be able to get involved.
I have a question: Where this messagem will be published? How the prize
(number of bug) will be informed ?

Btw, how can I work on this triaging? Wich list is appropriate?

Regards,

Renata Marques

Thanks a lot for your feedback

I have a question: Where this messagem will be published?

I thought to publish it on the discuss@ and projects@ lists. And also
ask Flo to publish it on our social media network (blog, twitter...)

How the prize

(number of bug) will be informed ?

I thought to create a fake bug, simple to understand and which
represents what you can find on BZ, something not difficult to
understand but clearly without enough details.

Btw, how can I work on this triaging? Wich list is appropriate?

To learn the process and get involved as a first step, we can use the
projects@list, there is low traffic on it and that won't disturb
anybody. If the developers have to be involved, the libreoffice@ is the
right list, but they won't appreciate if we are noisy for anything else.

There is also this wiki page, that will be added to the message
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugTriage

Thanks again for your interest and feedback
Kind regards
Sophie

I still have the feeling that we are going to need a QA list some time ;-)

Thanks, a nice idea :-)

Making bug-hunting etc appealing enough for people to step in, indeed is
not easy, but oh so valuable. It also is important on
local/national/language level.

Yes and thanks for your help. Tell them that the link to the wiki
instruction will be added and the projects@ list too.
