[MCN-L] Kiosk Pro Plus
Hi Heather, I second what David said. We had the same issue with our gallery iPad and Kiosk Pro. The secure stand we purchased came wired with an aftermarket cord and it didn't keep the iPad's power, even when plugged in. On a whim we tried a real iPad charger and cord, and that solved our problem. Good luck! We are using Kisok Pro Plus on iPads installed in our galleries. The devices are constantly plugged into power and the cords are enclosed in the cases and behind the walls so they are not exposed in order to be tampered with. Given all that, we are still see on screen error messages that the devices are low on power and we are getting email reports from Kiosk Pro that they are low on power but contacted to a power source. Has anyone else had this experience and know what the solution is? [MCN-L] Exhibition Layout Software
Hi, I do exhibition design at the International Quilt Study Center Museum, and we use google sketchup for our layouts. It's a pretty easy program, and the tutorials from google are great. The AK Curators are wondering what software other institutions are using for their exhibition layouts. Specially, programs that display floor plans, allow the user to drop in images to scale, and possibly pull content (images, dimensions, etc.) from their CMS or DAM. We appreciate any suggestions you might have. Many thanks!
