I think they use pictures taken by the lunar orbiter in the mid 60's, so it may not have any of the stuff left behind by the Apollo missions, which according to some did not actually occur, or should I say they went into Earth orbit for a few days and then came down again. Probably just as easy to go to the moon, jump around and come home, than try and keep a big secret, involving thousands of people. Like the say, the hard thing about space travel is lift off and re-entry, the stuff in between is relatively easy. There were two incidents with high pressure ammonia transmission lines (pipelines) when I was living in Tampa. There was a line about 1/4 mile south of my house. It was buried, but they had manholes where they could access control valves and monitoring equipment. Some meth head who thought they could tap one of the valves and get some ammonia for his lab got hosed in one of the vaults. He lived, but probably wished he hadn't. He was severely burned and had major lung damage. Add to this his incarceration that was for a number of years for several charges and his life was pretty much in the tank. The second incident involved an idiot who rappelled off the side of a bridge over the Alafia River, where another ammonia transmission line was suspended under the bridge. He was successful in breaching the line with a battery powered drill, amazingly enough. The resulting plume of ammonia that blew out of the hole he drilled knocked him into the river, where he was picked up by the local gendarmes. The amount of ammonia that was released into the air caused a massive evacuation of the area. [MBZ] 85 380SE for sale $600 Atlanta
I recently moved and finally got my previous house rented. but the downside is I lost my 3 car garage where I had the 380se waiting for the time $$ to get it back running. New house only has a 2 car garage and parking outside is not an option. Soo it's gotta go as the tennant needs the space. The good. Body interior and almost all ancillary systems in excellent condition. Approx 118,000 miles. The bad. timing chain jumped and so needs repair for timing chain and probably bent valves etc etc. Two small things that would also need fixed that I just never got around to 1) AC monovalve needs fixed 2) idle sensor thing needs looked at ( would occasionally idle fast and other times was ok. This really is too good to go to the crusher. Anyone know how much would need to be changed if I decided to turn it into a 300SD?? I'm assuming you'd need the engine, fuel/KLIMA stuff, transmission, not sure what how much a pain it would be to add the glow plug wiring/relay stuff and not sure if you'd have to change the ignition switch pictures available on request. Needs to be gone in the next week maybe two at the latest. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Old Model Ms have a removable cable. I'm pretty sure all one needs to do to switch from AT to PS/2 is to plug in the cable with a PS/2 connector on one end. I believe I am typing this e-mail right now on one that was originally an AT keyboard when I found it in a trash can, and has since been "upgraded" to PS/2. Re: [MBZ] Engine 102 oil filter draining down (Yes indeed it does).
Hello Wilton It drains down. My filter housing is on the driver's side of the block. It has a lid on top held on with a long bolt, remove bolt, take off cap, lift old cartridge out to the top. All done from above. Drain is in the bottom and seems to go directly into oil gallery and back through the pump into the sump. I sent you a way to see an image of the parts on a MB factory EPC earlier. Thanks for your interest. You need to have it towed back to front, i.e., with the FRONT wheels rolling along and the rear wheels sitting on the dolly. I can't say if you ruined the transmission, but there is a chance that you did. But don't despair: there are plenty of wagons out there with good drive trains, if you can do your own transplants.
