I did notice that the interior door frame in the second picture is the same 
(green) color, so if it’s been repainted someone did a pretty thorough job.

I messaged them asking about the engine and fuel type.  We’ll see what they say…

a different color than the body.  Even my green E 
320 had a different green on the plastic trim.

Dan, I couldn't see any evidence of a matching interior door frame.  I
would bet this is a respray where the owner requested a similar but custom
color that matches something other than the car.

[MBZ] lead

Folks

I have a lot of lead as in several tons of Linotype metal (4% Tin, 12% Antimony 
and 84% Lead)

It is in the form of standing type forms (strips of type) and is clean and 
ready to melt to make sinkers or bullets. I think the bullet people like the 
hardness of the alloy.

I have mostly been selling it on ebay for $2/lb plus shipping. It can be 
shipped relatively cheaply in USPS flat rate boxes …. 14 or 15 lbs fits in the 
small one that ships for less than $6 …. move in the larger boxes, but it has 
to be packed very securely.

like they might be fun, but like yours, you only get to take a few turns around 
the track which sort of sucks.

I want to go to the Skip Barber school at Sebring and take one of the high 
performance driving school classes.  They’re not terribly expensive and would 
be fun as well as informative.

Sounds like fun, especially the part about watching them pry the fat guy out of 
the car…

1.  Hardware Hawaii in Kailua (Oahu) Hawaii  I think you could build 
a house or commercial bld form one source, Hardware Hawaii.


2.  Nelson's Ace Hardware in Eagle River, WI.  No trip to the 
Northwoods is complete without a trip to Nelson's.


There may be others, but these two are outstanding and huge.

Max, there is a tool with two prongs that stick into the 
crosshatch in the bottom of chrome drain part. You would unscrew 
that, clean the old plumbers putty off the tub, put some new 
putty around the bottom of the new drain and screw it back in 
place of the old one. Clean off the excess putty that should have 
been squeezed out around drain and Done!


Less then 30 min. The tool and parts available at Lowes, HD or 
other local stores with plumbing parts.


The only possible problem is if you have to twist so hard to get 
the old drain off that something breaks. Then it's time to take 
the tub out or go through the wall to redo the drain pipes.
