[MBZ] Re: OT Covids vax

2020-12-20 Thread Rdeafboy via Mercedes
I have been taking Vit. D [7,000 units], Vit.K2 [100mg], Zinc [50 mg],
Quercetin [800 mg], Vit. C[1000 mg] daily as well as krill oil, ubiquinol and
astaxanthin...Just started Magnesium Threonate which means no more migraines
now after a history of having them...

Plesae read Drmercola.com for great info ...Twitter,goggle & MSM are calling
this site false cause he's rightI've been taking astaxanthin [ 5 mg] for
ten years now & my glaucoma disappeared..Went from 25 pressure down to 14 & eye
doc said no glaucoma...Thanks to reading Dr mercola site ...Supposedly Zinc &
quercetin combo acts like Hydoclorwhateveritis.  So I have been doing this for
6 months. Can't hurt I thought..[ Mercola shows simple test to see if you're
zinc deficient] I am 71 years old & still playing basketball with the 30-45 yr
old guys.  I carry my Bball in my 1983 240D [mercedes content  !!] all the time
ready to jump onto a court...BTW  I had a major stroke 12 years ago where I
lost my balance for 4 1/2 years... Now about the statin talk...After my stroke
the so called doc [he misdiagnosed me when I had my stroke saying I had an
earache; could have given me that shot to cure stroke within 3 hrs.] put me on
statins even though my cholesterol was 139protocol he said ...4 months
later I couldn't walk since my thigh muscles developed myapathy [sp?]  Stopped
it right away...Turns out that satins weakens & destroys muscles
...Helloo...The heart is a muscle too !!   So you're taking a statin ,you have
to take Ubiquinol or CQ10 to counter this The Japanese inventor said he
WILL NOT take statins now   Just had to put my experience out there and I want
to wish everybody a Merry Holiday and stay safe.  Bob

Re: [MBZ] Type of Wood Venner ?

2020-03-30 Thread Rdeafboy via Mercedes

I took off the "varnish" by flaking it off in pieces with a long bladed exacto
knife on the console of my 83 240D . It was so old that it came off easily .
Stripper doesn't touch the epoxied finish BTW.. Question is :: What kind of
wood veneer is used ?  Zebrawood ?  I noticed that the wood itself is not
stained per se ..The original clear coat is slightly infused with brown to give
it the look.   Jamie : Would you know a close stain to match ??  I plan to use
MiniWax "Helmsman Spar Urethane" Clear Gloss for the finish...Thanx for any

What was your health like before this regimen was started?

Always had bronchitis [all four us siblings had it] since both parents smoked
3 packs a day. None of us smoke.. That went away plus I'm back to playing
basketball with the 30-40 tr old group..Lungs feel great. Not bad for a 70
yr old...Had glaucoma but that disappeared cause I had been taking astaxanthin
for the last 10 yrs. . I had a major stroke 11 years ago whereas I lost my
balance for 4 1/2 years & then decided to play ball ..I was surprised !! Also I
make my own Kombucha tea since 2003 which helps Gut bacteria...That is
important..BTW  I have no spleen due to hereditary Thallasemia where the spleen
grows larger & multiplies among male members in my family ...had it taken out

A dab of mighty "J B Weld" on the face of the nut, put it in place, run the
bolt in from the other side to secure the nut while J B Weld is curing
Nut stays in place while installing cooler from awkward position.

Lightly oil bolt threads so JB Weld does not set on threads.

I use ONLY pure gas [98 octane] that I drive 27 miles for and get 2 or 3  5
gallon containers.Never used regular gas on my 1969 Austin America.I drive it a
lot during the next 3 months...fun !!!  I get about 25 mpg...1275 cc engine .I
just rebuilt rear wheels with new bearings ,wheel cylinder, etc.

I use[ pure-gas.org] for nearest locations...In fact a place a few miles from
me charges $10 per gallon . That's why I drive to Allentown for 91 octane at
$4.09/gallon. [ Don't have 98 from pump- just found out]

My 1983 240D had the rear passenger side Biltstein shock  broke through the
trailing arm where it rusted/broke out.  The spring is still intact in the arm
.  it caused the arm to bump into the outside axle rubber boot & spring a
grease leak . I put in new axles 2-3 years ago .  I have another rubber boot
but i know you need that tool.  I have to put it on the lift to see the boot
tear yet .   How hard is this to put a used trailing arm in anybody done it
..Appreciate your answers on this .

That's strange. I think there is a disc with small orifice at the gauge end of
the oil tube that is supposed to dampen the oil pulses. Any work done to the

So I spent most of the day working on the 190D.? I did a full conversion
to R134 including new expansion valve, all o rings replaced, drier
replaced, oil changed to ester, also pulled the blower motor and cleaned
out a rats nest that was built back behind the fan and evaporator.? No
idea how they got in there. Put it all back together, pulled a vacuum
and ran leak test on the ac machine, it passed.? I then charged with
R134 and the 201 chassis seems to convert well to R134 as it cooled
pretty darn good at idle in the 95 degree heat today.

I noticed all the sudden the oil pressure gauge is dead, shows 0 even
when wire is unplugged from the sending unit.? I guess I will have to
swap the gauge out.? So as I was finishing it up

Re: [MBZ] Mercedes Window Weatherstrip Temporary Fix

2018-03-22 Thread Rdeafboy via Mercedes
Happy Snowy Spring !!  In November when I had last chance good weather at about
60 degrees I tackled my cracked window weatherstrips.  Since I was repairing a
cracked hip roof connection on a small shed [prefab with NO tar paper lining]
with Flex Seal Liquid in black, I decided to coat my weatherstrips on my 83
240D . I slipped cut to size/taped to length manila folders behind to catch the
drips..   I put on two coats giving it 24 hours to dry between each coat.  WOW
!! After this snowy winter I had no leakage !  This stuff flows well enough to
put it on with a small artist brush. Funny thing is I bought two good
weatherstrips on Ebay years ago & never put them in .. Why? . I practiced in a
junkyard removing the Aluminum trim & it wasn't easy !!  BTW I did the drivers
side front & rear window for the winter. I'm impressed.  I also bought the 4"
black tape for other stuff & tried cutting it with scissors..NOPE...had to PRY
the scissors off  LOL.  Cut with razor & good luck getting it off your fingers
when you apply it...Clean the brush/remove with lacquer thinner  BTDTIf
anybody has tips on alum.trim removing I'm all earsyeah right !!

assimilating in the arteries...Even when I was in the hospital for my stroke

do a Vit D level test since they are brainwashed by your friendly Pharma .
The test is 25-HydroxyvitaminD or 25[OH]D .    My D level was 98- high because
I spend time outdoors at the shorehouse in Ocean City,NJ  from April til

Lubricating the lock with lock spray like Houdini 4-Way Lock

2014-04-14 Thread RDeafBoy
My vet who makes house calls for my 2 cats was a vet in the Army for
years. He said before they tested animals, they tested to see what food is
the
best since they don't want to test unhealthy animals [horses dogs cats ,etc
] Purina is the food of choice. Remember the Chinese putting melamine in
the food that killed numerous animals ?? Purina was the ONLY one not affected
since it's made here.
He said Pro Plan is good. I got my cats off dry food since it's
nothing but corn. I feed em wet food only they hardly drink any water since
the wet food is moist. Dry food makes them drink large quantities of
water Bear in mind that my cats are indoors only. Cats are carnivorous ,
not
grazers [for corn].
I started my first cat on Science Diet - 6 years later died of
cancer...Did some research found out Colgate-Palmative bought it out
change
the formula...so no SD for me !!!. If you want more explanations check out
Dr Beckers/Mercola website- valuable info.
My cats have lost weight due to the wet food diet. Of course if I go
away for a few days I put out GRAIN-free dry food.No corn !!

Re: [MBZ] Another Moose Story

2013-11-27 Thread RDeafBoy
He's going to need a bigger bite.
According to CBC.ca, two Newfoundland men saved a shark from choking on a
moose.
Derrick Chaulk was driving by the Norris Arm North harbor and thought he
saw a beached whale. But when he went closer to investigate, Chaulk realized
it was a Greenland shark. And it was choking.
[The moose] had the fur and all the liner on it -- it was about 2 feet
long, maybe, Chaulk said.
Chaulk and another man, Jeremy Ball, started pulling on the moose, CBS.ca
reported.
A couple yanks and it just came right out, he said.
Chaulk and Ball then pushed the shark back into the water. After being
still for a few minutes, water starting coming off the shark's gills and it
headed back out to sea.
It was a good feeling to see that shark swim out, knowing that you saved
his life, Chaulk said. There was a few people up on the _bank_
(http://www.myfoxdc.com/story/24082762/two-men-save-shark-from-choking-on-moose#)

watching and once that shark swam out and lifted his tail, and then swam all
the way out, everybody just clapped.
Greenland sharks are rarely seen on the northeast coast of Newfoundland,
CBC.ca reported.

and then assemble the whole unit into the car ?? Apparently my MB indy
awhile ago had cut off the threaded rod off the adjusting bolt when I asked
him to tighten it when I previously couldn't- said I didn't need it. It held
for 25k when I put the new belt on.Now the alternator is shot so I got a 55
amp Bosch. Do I really need that threaded rod ?? I was thinking about
welding a threaded rod back on but it looks like it has special nut according
to the pictures or will a regular stainless steel nut with heavy washers
suffice? Or just tightening the adjusting bolt will do without the rod just
like the way he had it. That seemed to work.Just have to pry it tight
otherwise..Without the threaded rod I can just slip the new alternator in put
in
the cutoff bolt. Any suggestions ? -THANX

I found that PartsBin you have to figure shipping added to your cost

almost the same as PartsBin. They're both the same basically-related? I

Anyway I wanna give my input on tick prevention. When I yonder into
vegetation, such as walking thru the parks or birdwatching, I rub my any
exposed skin with Bounce dryer paper { or generic brand } Rub the back of your
neck too. Usually I'll tuck a used piece in each of my socks. If you wear a
hat tuck it in the back. This keeps the gnats as well as misquitos away.
Pleasant smell too !! Not like Deet no oily feel on your skin.

Wilton,
May be late on this post but I found my problem was in the
plug itself that connects to the amplifier. Pry open the back of the plug
CAREFULLY you'll expose all the silver connectors. On mine it was a black
or brown ground wire that had turned brown on the solder part . I just
dabbed it to resolder it. Cruise control works ! Here I was driving around
thinking I had a bad amp for 12 years. Problem is that its hard to get under
there since it's a short wire.

Snake oil, no need for it. You'd be better off adding some bio-diesel to
improve fuel lubricity, which may have suffered when the sulfur was removed.

Sulfur won't help at all, may do harm; increase the amount of acids your
oil needs to deal with.
