Well that takes some pressure off... you were doing these huge round robin tours, which gave you max exposure to humanity while trapped for hours in a pressurized tube at altitude... Suggest you take a walk to the back 40 at Okie Acres and breathe some clean country air in celebration. There are a lot of DC-3s still in the air. I had the fun experience one day flying on the world's highest-time DC-3 still in commercial airline service, from Hyannis to Nantucket at about 800 ft on a glorious fall day, sitting in the huge original seats and looking out the windows at the lovely view of the Cape and the Islands. Noisy but fun and very comfortable. I believe it is still flying, probably in Florida. --R [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: www.funstufftosee.com/airlineempires.html ** Gas prices getting you down? Re: [MBZ] Air travel before.....
My wife and I got a ride in one of these last Thursday - this is REALLY flying!!! Cruising around at 500 ft. and 60-70mph,waving at those on the ground who looked up, and taking lots of photos. A breezy has to be one of the great aerial photo platforms. Got a photo of Garh Brook's entryway from it. http://www.airspacemag.com/flight-today/breezy.html http://breezybuilders.tripod.com/id3.html I'd love a ride in a DC3!
