The 240D used the 722.117 (W 4 B 025) automatic. The 300D Turbo used the 722.315 (W 4 B 040) automatic. The trailing number (040) refers to the maximum torque that the transmission can handle. A 240D automatic will be destroyed fairly quickly by the additional "power" emerging from the 3L turbo engine. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
