Sometimes it might be due to the frame (regulator) being bent -- it'll slide down enough then when the motor torques it to go up it bends and won't move. [MBZ] Getting Window Up
Passenger front window will go down, will not come up. Should I: Check switch first...or take door apart? Also, if the answer is take door apart, how can I get the window up to stay up until I have time to repair/replace the guts? Start by cleaning it (soak it and operate it maybe 50-100 times) with contact cleaner. If that doesn't work THEN you may want to try taking it apart (disassemble inside a clear plastic bag to be SURE you don't loose any pieces). A rubber wedge or two will hold the window up!
