That's what Facebook _is_! It's like modern cars: A modern car is a video game that, if you win, rewards you with transportation to your intended destination. Facebook (et al.) is a marketing platform that rewards you with the contact you desire, if you win. But never forget its primary purpose: selling _you_ to the highest bidder. -- Jim ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

I really despise facebook marketplace.. People post things for sale and there is no way to contact them directly to set up a buy of their item. The post and forget, never respond to your "facebook reply that you want to inspect and buy".. then if they do make contact with you it is obliquely to post the item is sold and the sale is taken down.. if you can find that in the facebook mess. Nothing is intuitive or direct. I hear facebook is going broke... couldn't be soon enough. Can I sue for reparations for money and time lost because of their gross mismanagement? Ohh... almost forgot... if I look at something, suddenly, I get 100 + emails trying to sell me like products.. or not so like.. unsolicited, so facebook is mining my personal information for sale.. That’s exactly what they do. No one wants to use their brain to actually engage someone. [MBZ] I think I figured out why idiots on Facebook always reply to ads with is this available?
I was looking at an ad and somehow hit a button that sent that very message to the seller. Not sure how I hit it, probably when I was scrolling the ad. So apparently it can be easy to do. Very stupid feature if you ask me.
