[MBZ] Vacuum Modulator

2007-04-20 Thread John Peterson
Hello Friends, I was going to play with my vacuum modulator on my 300D
2.5 and can't see on the modulator where or how one adjusts it. I hear
that there is a T type arm that can be twisted to adjust the flow of
vacuum. My modulator is black and has a plastic, cream colored cover
over it that turns, but doesn't seem to affect the vacuum. I don't want
to pry this cover off unless I know that it is indeed a cover.

Is the famous T behind this creme covered cover?

Happy Dieseling!

It's under the little black plastic cap on the left end of the picture attached.

[MBZ] vacuum modulator question

2005-11-03 Thread Hans Neureiter
I need to replace a leaking o-ring on my original vacuum modulator ( 126
300SD w/ 722 303 AT).
There was an article on this on MBZ, but that has disappeared into
cyberspace.
Somehow I remember there is a little more to it than just pulling it out and
sticking the thing back in the hole.
Can anyone help me with this and guide me in the right direction?
TIA
