Have you ever seen the old motorcycle ad "You meet the nicest people on a
Honda"? The picture shows Biff and Buffy on their way to play tennis in full
'70s tennis regalia...

I laugh about that every time I fire up the CB900f. Down at the motorcycle shop
they call me "Mad Max".

Ah, ok. I now understand. Those of us who are card-carrying "unwashed

Its a general MB list, not just for diesels.

For better or for worse, "old cars" include the lowly, long in the tooth

BZZZT, WRONG. Sort off. Yes, this list is for everything, but I did
set up a seperate SL list and vets(108) list. The idea being that the
only mbz.org lists that had any traffic was diesel anyways, all the
rest, 116, 123, 126 etc had very very little traffic so there is no
point in seperating them. The SL list usually attracts a differt type
of people and does have a fair amount of traffic. The old 108 list had
pretty good traffic from time to time. The new 108 list is pretty dead,
not too many people are on it. I turned that over to Cama though so he
could jump start it, but so far that has not happened yet.

That would be the old Diesel list - now we've joined forces with the SL list,
the
veteran's list (or did they move to the "108" list?), the 116 list, the 201
list.

Irreverent but close to the truth.

Regarding list splitting, I am on digest and yes, I'm a bit weary of the

So, I just read the headers and if nothing grabs my eye, I just delete the

Is your 4 year old car a Benz? I'd love to hear about
it...does it have an integrated garage door opener?
Parktronic? Sirius Satellite radio? Have you used the
MB concierge service to order movie tickets or send
flowers to your wife (what do they charge for that? is
it a monthly fee or is it every time you call)...does
it have a talking GPS? Have you ever wrecked it off a
cliff and had the helicopter show up without even
having to call them? Cool stuff.
