Re: [MBZ] 126 Seat pad

2006-05-09 Thread Dwight E. Giles, Jr
I recently bought a 123seat pad from Rusty for about 90.00. Actually it
was a year ago-100 for a formed 126 OEM pad sounds about right to me.
FWIW.

I know. I checked there first. I could find nothing on the site and a

search turned up nothing. BillR

Give him or Hursty a call. 1-(800) 741-5252 The online catalog is just a

generic europarts thing I believe. I am almost certain they do have
them.
IIRC, a lister recently redid his drivers seat.

Not everything is listed on the site, you would have to call. Used pads
are usually just fine though. There would be a link at the bottom for
used parts.

@$65, but they also want $100 for the pad. I think I have seen them on
eBay

for @$50. Any other sources for these? I think the $65 labor charge
sounds more than fair, but not as sure about the $100 for the pad.
Thoughts?

Yeah,

Rusty should really begin advertizing some of the other products and
services he offers outside of the WorldPac stuff, even if there is no
way to utilize the web interface to sell them. It pays to advertize.

2006-05-08 Thread Curt Raymond
That was me, a W201 seat. Easy morning job.
I'm pretty sure I paid more than $100 for the new pad from Rusty but its a
real horsehair pad not the junky foam stuff. It feels great. I got a new spring
too. I'd been quoted $600 for the spring and pad, I came in somewhere just
short of $500 but I spend at least 2 hours every day in my car so I think its
worth it.
Also while the seat is out you can clean up the horror underneith the seat.

Howdy,
Saturday, my wife left the lights on drained the battery - I entered
the code the radio started working again. I also slow charged the battery
all day Sunday until it was fully charged. Today, I drove it found all
is right again - until I turned the engine off - the radio went off after
its customary delay and I waited for the antenna to retract - but it didn;t.
I hit the radio Power button - and the power came on as it should, hit it
again it turned off -- all the while the antenna stays fully in the Up
position.

Any idea what happened how to fix it?

TIA --

Sincerely,
