Bought it for 26.5k, drove it for 25 years, and got a 20k settlement check. ... and, had it fixed, bought two other trucks, and still have some funds left. -- Jim ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Not an SLK230 with a stick, that would never fly. SLK 320 with a slushbox. I made the mistake of trying to teach the Mrs. how to drive a stick years ago and it was a horrible failure. Never again. -D > On Sep 16, 2020, at 7:08 PM, Buggered Benzmail via Mercedes > wrote: > > Realtoresses and older Administrative Assistants. Not that I give a rat’s rear end what the Seattle MBCA Section thinks, but it’s going to be a “girls car” anyway, so this is perfect. What I care about is that it’s nearly identical mechanically to two other cars in the fleet which will make maintenance and upkeep significantly easier. And hopefully it will get better mileage than the SL500. -D > On Sep 16, 2020, at 4:48 PM, Clay via Mercedes wrote: > > SLK was a girls car. SLK was a girls car. At least that was the consensus in the Seattle MB section. Early adopters were mid-life ladies who would head out on drives of a dozen SLK or more.
