Re: [MBZ] Computenmachine ?
KVM will do that. An A/B system that hooks keyboard, mouse, video between two systems so they share. Depending upon age of the machines, you would need ps2 ports and VGA or USB and DVI, maybe monitor port. clay On Mar 4, 2015, at 11:20 AM, WILTON via Mercedes wrote: For the computenmachine gurus: Can I connect 2 machines to work alternately using common screen, keyboard and mouse? WILTON wrote: For the computenmachine gurus: Can I connect 2 machines to work alternately using common screen, keyboard and mouse? Yes - with a device called a KVM (meaning keyboard, video, mouse). Make sure it has the type of keyboard and mouse connections you want. I have seen a lot of PS2-style and not so many USB. I have a 4-port one that allows me to control any one of four computers. 2-port are much more common and cheaper too. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com All posts are the result of individual contributors and as such, those individuals are responsible for the content of the post.
