I wouldn't go so far as 'begs' to be driven, but it is very very
enjoyable to drive. I've always been one to just get in and drive
around, and this car makes that all the easier! When I was down in
Pensacola for work, I drove 60 miles around town one night... those
kinds of things. Most of the mileage I've put on has been highway
trips. Driven to Phoenix, Iowa, Pensacola, Huntsville (twice), Gulf
coast (twice), and then lots of other little things that add up quickly.

The 700 mile range on the car is very nice. Gives me much greater
freedom in finding a diesel station I like. ie, It is a truck stop with
pay at the pump... There is no such thing in Arkansas on I-55.

Thought about it a little bit, and if fuel was $1 a gallon it would
*definitely* beg to be driven.

Daughters GL320 cdi SUV, which she has had 6 or 8 months, has been towed
into the dealer three times because it wouldn't start. Each time the dealer
said it was a defective sensor. If anyones cdi doesn't want to start, not
much use in running the battery down trying. Just call the dealer.
Other than that, no problems, and she and her husband both love it. It gets
about 22 mpg on the highway.
