Might be a left brain-right brain motion and eye movement integration. I seem
to recall something where the treatment was and eye movement exercise, which
somehow re-integrated the hemispheres.

Re: [MBZ] New Parkinsons Treatment?

2019-12-01 Thread Curt Raymond via Mercedes
The body is pretty amazing. Years ago we were at the range and this group
shows up to bring granddad out to shoot.  The old guy got out a 1911 Colt .45
but to load the magazine into the gun he had to put both on the table and push
them together. He shook like a leaf in a bad wind.We all stood back expecting
this to all go horribly wrong.

Well the old guy stands up, settles into position and proceeds to put 5 shots
in the 9 or 10 ring at 50 yards! While he was shooting he didn't even wiggle,
solid as a rock. We thanked him for coming out and putting on the
demonstration...

Danged if I know. One thing he talked about was that it needed to be "forced
exertion" so no just going through the motions at the gym. Maybe thats why
boxing, since the trainer can really push you.

One thing to be aware of is that the dopamine meds the docs give
Parkinson's disease patients can have some significant side effects that
need to be monitored.  Dopamine inhibitors are given to people with
manic behaviors, so when you give dopamine to someone it can cause manic
behaviors that can manifest in various undesirable activities.
