No I bought them from a guy the other side of Augusta. I was going to drive up and get them but he came down this way yesterday to get crabs on Edisto so I met him on the way, only about a 30min drive there for me. Worked out well. Plenty of rubber on them, so there's no rush. Unless you really hate those A/S Contis, it was a better deal before the tires were removed, but $250 for a nice looking set of 17s isn't bad. I paid $50 shipped for a far from perfect 16 for the e320. Re: [MBZ] Score!!
I would rather buy my own tires. I didn't see these until after the tires were sold, otherwise I would have gone for the whole package, as it was a good deal. I had a CL deal on the hook with a guy over in Deltona for a set of 8 hole OE wheels with some decent tires for the same price, but I would rather have the 17 wheels, so I let it drop. She is as basic and simple as they come. Blower motor works and all the basic things that we need are functional. No power anything or vacuum actuated stuff. Even the pods for the vent are manual and vac less. On Friday, April 21, 2006, at 08:48 PM, OK Don wrote: Gump didn't come with central vacuum locking? I could have sworn that my '70 220D had it. Got a nice MightyVac with ALL the attachments, in great condition. Now I can do my brakes and stuff. Now you can retrofit central locking into Gump. Then you'll have something to chase with it. -- Jim

I may be interested in the Snap On vaccuum/fuel pressure gauge. Is it the pump as well like the mighty Vac? What would you take for it? Went to the marine shop auction this morning. Such deals! I had no use for much of what they had, since I do not have Detroit, Cummins, or Cat engines. Also picked up a Snap On Vacuum Fuel Pump Gauge. No idea what I want with that, as it seems to duplicate the mightyvac. It is in the red box with all sorts of attachment and manual. Might end up on eBay. Also got a set of gauges that measure in Bars. One is for 20 bar, the other to 40 bar. Also a Snap On gauge that goes to 100 psi. In a red metal box, like the snap on labeled Compression test. Lots of connectors. To get the MightyVac, I had to bid on a shelf full of stuff. So I got a few metal syringe type Vacuum things. Will have to do research as to what I have, but figure I may get some cash back by putting it on eBay. -- Clay Seattle Bioburner 1972 220D - Gump 1995 E300D - Cleo 1987 300SDL - POS - DOA The FSM would drive a Diesel Benz ___ http://www.striplin.net For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://striplin.net/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_striplin.net
