I have EXACTLY the same thing happening on my 240D but on the other side! I thought the bumper was glued to its mount somehow, it ever occured to me to weld it. So what would be a good adhesive to try here? Liquid Nails? Someone suggested running a couple of stainless carriage bolts through the bumper, I guess that's a common way of dealing with this.
