RE: Rev licensing 2.5
Also, even though you may be using the MC IDE, you are still using the Revolution engine and need to meet the licensing requirements. I am glad you specified the Revolution engine in this claim...this would not apply to licenses purchased from Scott Raney prior to the RunRev buyout. This licensing situation is getting a little too hostile for me. I am developing an alternative solution in Java, so I have moved on. I still use the 2.5 engine I licensed in 2002 from Scott Raney when I need to...but this environment has lost sight of the original 'spirit' that he intended (in my opinion). Version number in new 2-2 engine
Maybe this has been discussed before, but I just noticed that the information about the new 2.2 Rev engine (Windows XP) is bad: File Version = 2.4.2.1 Description = MetaCard Engine for Win32 Copyright = 1992-2002 (Other version Information) Company = MetaCard Corporation File Version = 2.4.3.1 Legal Trademarks = MetaCard is a registered trademark of MetaCard Corporation. etc, etc. I know those guys are overworked, but this is quite extraordinary... How to change the version number
Someone on this list mentioned that they knew the binary offset for changing the internal version number for the engine...I would really like to do this to avoid confusion with my customers, please. Finally got the new 'XP' icon thing happening...what a relief! Thank you, MT ___ metacard mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/metacard
MC and RunRev 2-2 in RedHat 9
There is no compatibility with the new 2.2 RunRev engine and the MC IDE in Red Hat 9. Can anyone else get it to work? Thanks, MT ___ metacard mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/metacard
