windows above backdrop

2004-06-28 Thread Cteno4
Im using the backdrop command to put a black window behind my metacard
stack for a full screen presentation. works great on the mac, but on some
windows systems the top most windows directory window (the one the app is
launched from) gets stuck behind the mc window, but ABOVE the backdrop
window. you can click on it and close it out of the way, but its funkie.
anyone know of a solution to this? im using mc2.5

thanks

jeff

I've often seen this behavior on Mac systems as well, and tried to bug
report it in RunRev's system, but last I checked I'm not sure there was any
resolution to the problem.

unfortunately there is no solution in the near future :-(
I know because: I reported the bug, or am watching the reporter!
Well, the first one ;-)
Tuviah is talking about some kind of kisok mode that some OSes
provide?

Sounds promising though :-)
