Re: [meteorite-list] Very Unique Meteorite
Hi, I have had several people ask Is it a meteorite, are you sure? In my opinion it is It is highly attracted to a magnet - almost like a Mesosiderite - and what appear to be chondrules everywhere. I guess it could be terrestrial, but I have never seen a terrestrial rock like this either. I will have this stone with me and bring it for show and tell. Re: [meteorite-list] Very Unique Meteorite
Hi, It was not his fault (at least I won't blame him too much) I bought many kilos for 4-5 cents per gram and this was one in the box. I originally thought it was a meteorite too so I can't blame him for leaving it also : ) On Sun, Jan 30, 2011 at 6:36 PM, Marcin Cimala mar...@meteoryt.net wrote: Now return this unique rock to seller to teach him that selling terestial rock not pay -[ MARCIN CIMALA ]-[ I.M.C.A.#3667 ]- http://www.Meteoryty.pl marcin(at)meteoryty.pl http://www.PolandMET.com marcin(at)polandmet.com http://www.Gao-Guenie.com GSM: +48 (793) 567667 [ Member of Polish Meteoritical Society ] - Original Message - From: Ruben Garcia mrmeteor...@gmail.com Hi Rob and all, As it turns out this specimen is neither a unique or a very unique meteorite.
