[Mobile.AI] Strange problem with VoiceOver

2014-06-06 Thread Kartik Sawhney
Hi all,

I'm experiencing a rather unusual problem with my iPhone. VoiceOver
works when I'm working with Siri, or even when I recieve calls. But,
if I try using it to navigate on the homme screen, or for any other
operation (such as browsing, accessing contacts etc.), it does not
work. Any suggestions?

Best,

2014-06-06 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafel
Thank you Bijoy. I am able to set the icons on my homescreen.
But increasing visibility time out in Bluetooth settings is not the
solution for this problem. The timeout refers to that after inactivity
for this time period, other Bluetooth device will not be able to
identify the mobile phone as Bluetooth enabled device.
I want that when ever I try to transfer any file from my PC to mobile
phone, the option to accept or to decline this file should reflect on
my screen directly with out going into notifications.

2014-06-06 Thread Mahesh S. Panicker
The talks based phones and TalkBack based phones work very
differently. It is about getting the concepts right, remember you have
to doubletap to activate something on a touchscreen phone ones
TalkBack is enabled. Talks and simbian are things of the past and
there no more new phones coming out on the platform, Android does
offer a lot more exciting possibilities. So it is hard to say Talks
based systems were better. Anyways it really doesn't matter, take your
time to understand the Android/TalkBack interface, give yourselves a
week or 10 days, try and explore some Android tutorials, you should be
good to go.

Hi
by default, its gesture is swipe up then right.
you can read line by line, word by word and character by character through this.
method
swipe up and right very gently, now waite for second,
now touch the central point of your screan and explore the option
roundly, do not lift your finger until you select any of them
suppose, you want to read line by line, so just lift your finger on
the line gramularity
now you can read line by line, for this, swipe right or swipe down
hope, I've cleared

Not only talks is better than talkback but also talks enabled phones
are much much better than talkback phones!
By the way it is not talkback which is responsible for slowing your
phone, I think its because of explore by touch feature which comes
with talkback. Its not slowing but it is how a talkback phone enable
phone operates.

[Mobile.AI] Need quick solution for these frustrating problem in moto g

2014-06-06 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafel
1. when I try to transfer any file from my PC to my Moto g through
Bluetooth, a message pops up on the screen to this effect, and
disappears with in few seconds, prompting me to access the file
through notifications. I go to notifications, search Bluetooth
transfer by swiping my finger left to right, until I find out the
Bluetooth transfer option, the waiting time gets over, the transfer is
declined due to not accepting by the receiver. Its very frustrating.
Please do give me the solution for it. I want, A. when ever I try to
send any file to my phone, with out asking me to accept, it should get
into my mobile. Or, B. the prompt notification, either to accept
Bluetooth transfer or to decline must not disappear until I chose
 either of them.
 2. Each time I need to on/off wifi or Bluetooth, I have to go to
settings then wifi or Bluetooth to enable and disable it. I want a
direct shortcut on my homescreen to on/off wifi and Bluetooth.

Its a hindrence in using my phone quickly.
