Re: [Mobile.AI] Guidance needed

2016-07-21 Thread Viraj Kafle
Hi,

To address the first two queries:

1. Generally, we can get the position of the element on the screen by
navigating to the desired element through one finger flick right/left
and tapping the screen with three fingers. Once you get the position,
try finding the desired option accordingly.
2. If you are familiar/comfortable with Braile or writing in print,
you may try Braille Screen Input or Handwriting options respectively.
The options can be enabled by adding them in the Rotor from Voiceover
Settings. .

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Guide to Manually Install Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on Indian Moto E
 (Soak Test OTA Update)

 Posted: 12 Feb 2015 06:26 AM PST

Motorola has started Android 5.0 Lollipop soak tests for Moto E and
Moto Maxx. The Lollipop soak testing for Moto Maxx has began in Brazil
and Mexico, and for Moto E in Brazil and India. With Soak Testing, the
company starts by rolling out the upgrade to smaller test groups
before releasing it widely, and if the results are strong, they
continue the rollout to more phones. The soak test helps in monitoring
performance data and user feedback over several days. On basis of soak
test users feedback, the company tweaks software and incorporates new
changes to fix any issues. The Lollipop soak test for Moto E is now
rolling out in India and some users have got it. In case you're eager
to try out the latest Android 5.0 upgrade, then you can get it by
installing the Lollipop soak test OTA update manually on your Moto E.

 Points to be noted:

Below procedure is tested on Indian Moto E running Android 4.4.4
 (locked bootloader, unrooted, fully stock).
This update doesn't wipes your user data.
Update might take a long time.
It's recommended to have 500 MB of free space on your internal storage.
Make sure your phone is charged.
Initial boot takes time, so be patient.
Disclaimer: We're not sure if it works on other models too. Try it at
 your own risk.

Steps to Install Android Lollipop 5.0.2 Official OTA update on MOTO E
 (Indian variant) -

Note: This is a soak test update that might have some issues. Those
concerned can rather wait for the final update.

Before proceeding, make sure your phone is running stock Android 4.4.4
 KitKat.

 1. Download the Lollipop OTA update for Moto E. (Size: 342 MB)

 2. Place the download file
 Blur_Version.21.12.40.condor_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03.zip in
main directory of external SD card (might also work with internal
 storage).

 3. Update both these system apps: Motorola Update Services and
 Motorola Contextual Services.

 4. Now go to setting and 'check for update'.

Note: If you receive 'Your software is up to date' message then boot
in stock recovery and wipe cache partition. Then power on your phone
 and check for updates.

 5. When 'New system software available' message is shown, select 'Yes,
 I'm in' to proceed.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Guidance needed.

2015-02-15 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafay
To check if your talkback is the latest one. just go to playstore
using your phone, type talkback in search box, it will show the
results, see what has been written infront of talkback, if it is
latest, only uninstall option will be there, else it will give an
option for update.
There is no need to disable eloquence or any tts while updating talkback.
If your talkback is the latest one, I don't see any other reason why
side tabbing option is not there in your device?

On 2/15/15, suresh kulkarni kulkarni.sur...@gmail.com wrote:

One more thing, Yesterday, I have purchased eloquence from code
factory, installed through play store. I have disabled eloquence before
 updating talkback.

 Any more suggestions?

 With thanks and regards.

In powerbank always go for a trusted brand. Though it will cost you

looking for a good powerbank for my android, I ended up with Anker.
Its a good brand and producing a decent searies of powerbanks. Though
I haven't purchased it yet, but I have made my mind to go for Anker
 79AN7917-BA 2nd Gen Astro E3 1mAh or Anker Astro E4 13000mAh Power
Bank version available on flipkart and amazon between the price range
of 3500 - 4700 rupees. There is 15,000 MAH model also, but in my view
 its little bit bulky.
You may want to look it also, Portronics Charge Two 12000 mAh, its
available just for 2800 rupees. But Anker gives you 2 years warrantee
in totoal, while Plantronics is offering only 1year warrantee. Better
if you go a powerbank that contain a lithium polymer battery, though I
didn't find one in these two brands. I saw one powerbank containing
polymer battery of EViO brand which is of 13000 Mah capacity and
available in little bit lower price, but I have doubt that it can be
so inexpensive with 13000mAH polymer battery.
These two brands are pretty decent, however you may go for better one also.

First of all, granularity has to be selected and goes backto default every
time you touch a new area on the screen. in order to select different
levels of granularity, swipe up then right and explore the screen.
Sometimes you will directly find line/paragraph etc and at others you may
have to touch change granularity and then select the desired options.
As far as music player is concerned, you can go for music folder player.
