Re: rights to URI::tcp
I think the easiest way is to follow the suggestion in the ticket and split "package URI::tcp" into two lines, which should prevent it from being indexed. I'm not the current maintainer, but Fred should be able to do this. Paul. Re: rights to URI::tcp
Ok, sorry for my mistake, but I see in pause ( https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery) owner of URI::tcp module are KULCHENKO. You have rights to give me rigths to publish URI::tcp module? Give you sense to do it? Dan Book advised me (https://github.com/avast/URI-tcp/issues/1) for try author contact... I will like use URI::tcp module. I think it's pretty useful module and on cpan now doesn't exists. But I cannot publish him, because was in past used in SOAP::Lite module.. This is reason why I need this rights... best regards JaSei 2017-06-14 16:54 GMT+02:00 Byrne Reese : > You are corresponding with the owners now. You are corresponding with the owners now. What information do you need? On Jun 14, 2017, 6:41 AM -0700, Jan Seidl , wrote: > Hello, > this module (`URI::tcp`) doesn't exists in SOAP::Lite now... Re: rights to URI::tcp
Hello, this module (`URI::tcp`) doesn't exists in SOAP::Lite now... And about your proposal - pushing my URI::tcp to SOAP::Lite doesn't make sense - I don't have rights to push SOAP::Lite and I expect a user doesn't want to install whole SOAP::Lite if they only need URI::tcp (really tiny module) Have you some information about owner SOAP::Lite? thanks JaSei 2017-06-09 20:23 GMT+02:00 Byrne Reese : > I would just break the module out on your own, and leave it bundled with > SOAP::Lite. Re: rights to URI::tcp
Second variant is delete URI::tcp package from SOAP::lite and set URI::tcp as prerequisite. First URI::tcp must be released 2017-06-15 17:17 GMT+02:00 Paul K : > I think the easiest way is to follow the suggestion in the ticket and > split "package URI::tcp" into two lines, which should prevent it from > being indexed. > > I'm not the current maintainer, but Fred should be able to do this. > > Paul. > > On Thu, Jun 15, 2017 at 7:51 AM, Byrne Reese wrote: > > Paul is the owner of URI::tcp, but I am not sure he actively maintains > it, > > or even if this email is still current for him. Re: rights to URI::tcp
Paul is the owner of URI::tcp, but I am not sure he actively maintains it, or even if this email is still current for him. I cannot help you with that module. If Paul can’t help, I am sure there is a procedure for you being granted rights by CPAN. If you don’t hear back, pursue that.
