A Mopo Exclusive
( and any others forwarded this email)
CHARLIE CHAN posters are like Chinese Food.
After purchasing one you're hungry for another in a mere fewhours
it'strue, I read it in an articlein Learn About
Movie Posters.
Well then obviously a solution would be to serveup a
veritable banquet of onesheets. Offeringa total of 9
Charlie Chan Posters
three starring Sidney Toler andallsix of
Roland Winters'. The onsheets were all in very fine condition prior to
their expert linen backing to address any touch ups to fold lines and optimize
their appeal when displaying.
I am preferring to sell these in one lot. Prior to this
offer I had enlisted MOPO's resident Chan expert, the oft
imitated but never equaled, Claude Litton, to impart his opinion on the
collection. Obviously Warner Oland Chan's are the most
in demand.Wellokay that's a given. But he did mention that the
collection did include posters withseveralfeaturing images of black
co-star Mantan Moreland that can significantly increase theirdemand.
In particular he singled out the onesheet for Black Magic which accounts on its
own forjust lessthan a thirdof the asking price for the entire
collection, aprice he felt was exactly right. Also
with regards to the last two Winters' Chans, Key Luke returned to play
number one son a role he originated from the Oland Chansbut
in life, Luke playing Winters' son was actually older. That
may actually trump Ava Gardner playing Loren Green's daughter
in EARTHQUAKE.but I digress.
ALL NINE ONESHEETS . $3500
Shipping is $40 within the Continental US and
abroad is close to $100.
The posters each have their own individual link
