The idea was that the one-chip-msx, and here I'm referring to that 'next-gen' thing, only has usb ports, and ofcourse not one of those huge cartridge slots :). The MSX-GR could then be used to plug in old cartridges. ~Grauw -- Ushiko-san! In other words, it interfaces with MSX rompacks, therefor carries the MSX logo, therefor is MSX hardware. And don't forget a USB ports for MSX are in development (by several parties, IIRC). Anyway, in my opinion is the gamereader just as MSX complaint as the Panasonic turbo R computers. ;-) Met vriendelijke groet, Jetze Mellema http://www.mellema.net/homecomputers 'Heel erg vette shit!' ___ MSX mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Info page: http://lists.stack.nl/mailman/listinfo/msx

It interfaces between MSX rompacks and the MSX Player. Furthermore, MSX Player (and also MSX GR itself) are both products from MSX Association, which currently is the organisation that holds the MSX rights and as such can define how the MSX standard is further extended. For example by introducing MSX GR. Kind regards, Alex Wulms ___ MSX mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Info page: http://lists.stack.nl/mailman/listinfo/msx
