[MLO] error when clicking on file link in tasks notes

2012-03-09 Thread Jason Graham
Hi,

I am trialing MLO for the first time and love all the features. One
in particular is inserting a link to a file in the task notes.

I am inserting the link by right clicking the task notes and selecting
insert link to a file. The link appears as it should.

When I click the link to open the file I keep getting the same error
message:
Could not execute file (file path and name here). The operating
system denied access to the specified file

I have tried everything; running MLO as administrator, installing as
administrator, putting link as absolute and relative, tried different
types of files in different locations.

Please help, as I love the program, but if I can't get this feature
working there is no point in buying the licence.

Am running Win 7 32 bit.

Thanks in advance!

[MLO] Wanted in to do list. Immediate parent on same line as task

2012-03-09 Thread FischerPhoto
I'm a wedding photographer and am setting up a system using MLO to
keep track of processing my jobs. Starting with a template of what I
do for each job. The rename the parent folder of the template with the
name of the job. Right now on the to do list I will see many items
process images or design album without any sense of what it is for
without going to the outloine. For this to work I need to see on the
to do list the name of the immediate parent which is the name of the
job right next to the tast. It may look like this with a slash. Smith/
Design album.Or place the parent at the end. Can this be done
now? If so how do I set that preference? If not, can you think of a
way around this with how MLO is now? Thank you!!

I'd agree strongly with this. The iPad version is very crippled
compared to the Android or PC versions.

[MLO] Remote data file path should not be empty message

2012-03-09 Thread MWood
Just purchased and activated the Windows desktop version of MLO to
work with my iPhone. Have a MLO Cloud account but when I try to sync
to cloud, I get the Remote data file path should not be empty error
message when trying to setup the sync profile. I've entered username
(email) and password for the cloud account, is there something
additional that needs to be done?
