What version of outlook do you use? I use Outllok 2007 and the linking 
works nicely, even links to personal folders (.pst)

My intention was never to complain but thank you for your feedback!

Helpful would be for me some information how suggestions of users are 
handled and how the progress of MLO over the last years was. Maybe some 
experienced user can say something on this. Is there hope MLO get rid of 
some of the flaws in the future? Has been anything announced yet?

Maybe you could try out Evernote, and use pretty much the same ' complaint 
' with them.  I see to many great information or task management tools that 
forget that we humans have some information to include, and that allowing 
us to structure and format that information for maximum ' digestibility' 
 is one of the decade old tenets of good ' knowledge mangement' .  In other 
words, I agree with you fully.
