Re: [NetBehaviour] pulsating emotion organism.
Hi Pall Well spotted - I didn't see that- so it looks like only pictures, text, video are copyrighted, and not the concept or idea. Why copyright pictures, text, video? dave 2008/7/15 Pall Thayer [EMAIL PROTECTED]: If the CC license is meant to apply to the work itself, then it's a flawed application of it. The only thing that it can really apply to in this case is the documentation of the work. He doesn't give you any materials that allow you to alter, transform or build upon the work which would apply if there was source-code or schematics provided. Oh, and then there's the fact that we could both take the time to actually read what it says on the website, like the part where he states that what's copyrighted are pictures, text, video... :-) Pall On Tue, Jul 15, 2008 at 7:28 PM, dave miller [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: This project reminds me of something I did a couple of years ago: http://davemiller.org/index.php?nav_item=Gallerygallery_nav=newscartoon_v2 This version without a doubt is far nicer and much more refined. Re: [NetBehaviour] Fwd: pulsating emotion organism.
Hi Markus I understand - you're not copyrighting the idea. It would help if you made this clear on your site, as it gives the impression that your project is your original idea, and this is what you're copyrighting. I think your idea is very similar to mine from a couple of years back, in my newscartoon project: http://davemiller.org/index.php?nav_item=Gallerygallery_nav=newscartoon_v2 Sorry to sound so picky, but I've nothing against people taking ideas so long as they give credit. And after all this is what you ask for in your CC license. thanks, Dave 2008/7/16 Markus Kison [EMAIL PROTECTED]: This is complety correct the CC licencse is meant for the documentation material.
