Hey Friends: In addition to my nice little 250 Nighthawk, I have 75 CB 550 K

Would appreciate the group's input for a good source for gaskets. I need a

[Nighthawk Lovers] 250cc ('99)

2010-09-26 Thread Michael Chauveau
Hey friends: does anyone have experience with changing out the rear wheel
sprocket on a 250 Nighthawk. Looking for a slightly higher top speed to
cruise at (i.e. 60mph) so that my poor little guy doesn't keep running out
of breath. Thank you,

[Nighthawk Lovers] hesitation

2009-06-17 Thread Michael Chauveau
Far from new to bikes, but fairly new to 250 1999 Nighthawk. Purchased
recently, the seller said to be generous w/the choke for the first five
minutes or so and then judiciously until it's good and warm. At normal run
temp, there's a slight hesitation in the low revs as you pick up through the
gears. Years of Brit bikes might pinpoint that as a slightly too lean mix or
a blocked jet somewhere. Suggestions or similar experience and fixits
appreciated. Thanks, Michael C.
