If there are enough people, we will create a wiki page with the list to be able to ask them directly if a commit on website is not manage after 1 week. Since it seems that we have enough French committers and contributors willing to help with the translation, I think we could accept the French translation of the website. However, if we go into this direction, for me it is important that this is treated like an experiment to prove that there are enough French committers/contributors that will constantly review the English version and provide the translation within an acceptable time (i.e. max few days) since the change; if this will not happen we should remove the translation.
