Re: [nsbasic-ce] Re: anyone using epocket setup express?

2008-11-13 Thread George Henne
I have been in touch with Allego Wireless. They are working on getting
the registration server running again. Apparently, they have been
contacted by a number of people. They said it might be a few days still,
but that they would keep me posted.

RE: [nsbasic-ce] Re: anyone using epocket setup express?

2008-11-06 Thread Bob Katayama
Short answer is YES.

Long answer is the original owner would have to negotiate the proper terms
that the new owners will maintain support for X number of years or months in
the buyout deal. Even then there are no guarantees that the new company will
follow through on this. In the end, the consumer gets the short end of the
stick whenever a company gets bought out.

George

Can a company like Allegro Wireless buy a product as epocketsetup, without
also having the the obligations to the customers?

I've left several messages and emails with Allegro Wireless, with no
reply so far. I have not given up yet.

I guess I can be thankful that I have a working copy. But if I change
computers it will be game over.

So what's the next best product?

George, sure would be nice if you could find a way to have it as an
NSB option.

Mike

  Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone is in touch with the people at epocket
setup
express. I bought their program two months ago and got a
receipt, but
have yet to receive a registration key as promised, despite many
unanswered emails. Now it appears that the company has been
bought
and the links on their website are no longer functional.
Frustrating.

  Anyone with some news?
