Thanks to all for reporting this issue. I'll look into it and fix it asap! Sorry for any inconvinience. @Alvin Ho (alfkh): maybe it is better to stick to a LTS version (currently 12.04) with long term support and stability? As a side note from the developer view: same holds for me...things are working and suddenly stop with a new version of the distribution (therefore I'm running Debian now). This takes a lot of effort to test pre-release...Help is welcome... Sorry, the bug fix does not work either: The error window is shown again when I want to choose a non-standard destination. After dismissing the error window I am able to enter the destination (entry Use custom local backup directory) but the setting is ignored and the backup is stored to the standard destination (what I wanted to avoid).
