To be Honest I really thought that Wolves would have gone hard to secure quality Premier League players, regardless of where they come from! I'm very disappointed in Wolves transferrers in this window. Can only hope that Wolves survive the drop. Re: FW: [NSWolves] Why am I watching this? [sec=unclassified]
they seem to playing as if they are a established premier team? They have to get rid of that stupid huddle they go in to before kick off!!! They have to start tackling and not let the oppostion gain any ground like they have been!!! Seb is not up to Prem standard as yet what happened to the neck, know he was susspened back must be back now that Halford is a waste of space.long throw or not (should be put at right back...if he can tackle)!!! If Wolves are to stay up the 3 M's have to be ruthless and pull the team apart and decipher who can play were and then pick a sqaud that can go out there and play their socks off..EVERY WEEK Look what Stoke did, their players played as if there was no tomorrow, tackled, ran the 90+ minutes and at the end they stayed up. If Wolves carry on like they are they will go down Morgan needs to buy PREMIER players to help the cause. Steven Millward wrote: I can only assume that the players with Premiership experience either: (a) weren't approached (Mick's fault, although there were plenty of rumours that we were after some of these). (b) didn't like the wages being offered (not Mick's fault). (c) didn't like something else about the club relative to other clubs (and who knows what this might have been if not wages as we should be able to compete). I agree that we are doomed. I don't believe we'll find players in January that will improve the first XI _and_ will be willing to come to the club. It will be interesting to see if Mick gets sacked now. Does everyone think the players aren't good enough or that Mick's now getting enough out of them? A new manager will only address the second point. 2009/11/30 Morris, Lee SGT lee.mor...@defence.gov.au mailto:lee.mor...@defence.gov.au So what happened to all the premiership experience? We haven't got one player who has previously performed well in this league. The wage structure is that of a top championship team. If that is Moxey or Morgan's fault fair enough, we can't sack Morgan can we? We will find out in January because if we don't make some significant quality signings we are doomed, surely that is plain for everyone to see now.. The yo yo effect doesn't interest me at all, infact it scares the life out of me. I'm not going to blame any individuals because its obvious most of them aren't good enough, however here are my thoughts on an inept few; Mancienne looked totally useless to me, didn't seem to have a clue where he was supposed to be. Ward made a big difference when he came on but collectively even that wasn't good enough at least he gets stuck in and is more decisive than most. Ebanks Blake didn't get any good service but whenever he got near the ball he gave it away and fell in a heap on most occasions. Don't think its going to happen for him. Edwards gets involved but he was very lucky not to get booked because of clumsy tackles, not too bad. Jarvis was our only threat. Kightly, who

I cannot get me hard around as to why MM still picks Keogh as a strker! Keogh is not a striker, stick him in midfield but not striker. The first penalty was pretty harsh, and we could very well deservedly had had one in return. We were the much better side going into half time. Second half and their penalty this time was fair. But we continued to fight. The commentators stating at one point that any team that plays Wolves this year is going to be fighting hard for their points. We luckily got one back, and then the equaliser, and from there we had the full run of the game until they scored their third. From there we just seemed to tighten up and not flow as well. Keogh and Doyle were strong, as was Henry. Berra again had a good game, and is it me, but does Mancienne always seem to get a bit outmuscled? I think we missed Craddock there. Kightly and Jarvis tried hard, and but I didn't think SEB made much impact. Points lost I feel - we could easily have come away with all three if not one. We are really clicking into gear though I think, with some nice passing and attacking play, again just missing that finishing quality. [NSWolves] Man u 1 - Wolves 0
Quiet about the game this morning, no emails, or have you lot fell asleep at your computers at work..LOL Well what can you say about this game.Seems to me that both managers used the game so that lower grade players got some game time in. Especially Manu, MM seemed to use the game to give the players coming back from injurie a run. Dissappointing thing was Wolves could not score against 10 man Manu and thats 10 man Manu reserves! Anyways we got Sunderland on Sunday, live on foxtel about 12.45am. Lets hope the lads who were injured came through last nights game a tad more fitter for the game. I mate of mine is a Liverpool supporter and he has aready stuck the knife be saying Your lucky that the Foxtel contract is only for 12months My reply to him is un-printable.LOL just read that Fulham lost 2-1 after they replaced a lot of their first team in the second half to that new A League team. I read some where that MM and Wolves had gone cold on Fortune, hence Wolves did not pursue him. Marcus Chantry wrote: don't steal my thunder Steve. They have completely misquoted me!!! You're right, I didn't want us to sign him anyway as I thought he was pants for the Baggies last season (based purely on football highlight shows on Foxtel). BREAKING NEWS: City land Fortune! By CI Reporter - 24/06/2009 01:05 It appears that Hull City have won the race ahead of a clutch of English and Scottish Premier League clubs to sign French striker Marc-Antoine Fortune. A spokeman for New South Wolves, Macus Chantry commented earlier today: I'm disappointed that we didn't sign this player as I was looking forward to moaning about how he wasn't the right signing and how it was all Thick Mick's fault. I know that the club had never mentioned him and I've never seen him play but now I'll have to moan about not signing him instead. At least that way there are about 90,000 professional footballers that we haven't signed so that should keep me busy to end of the transfer window. This article had so much credibility too, with the misspelling of my team's name and the reference to Glasgow Celtic. I reckon the journalist really knew what he was talking about and hadn't just added Wolves in as a lazy piece of journalism. 2009/6/24 Marcus Chantry marcus.chan...@macquarie.com mailto:marcus.chan...@macquarie.com BREAKING NEWS: City land Fortune! By CI Reporter - 24/06/2009 01:05 It appears that Hull City have won the race ahead of a clutch of English and Scottish Premier League clubs to sign French striker Marc-Antoine Fortune... Sources close to City Independent believe Hull City have won the race to sign AS Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune and the forward is set to complete a brand new deal with the Tigers within the next 24 hours. City had been facing stiff opposition for the centre forward from Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderes, Glasgow Celtic and Portsmouth, but reports are now indicating that Phil Brown has captured the former West Bromwich Albion loanee and the striker will become Hull City's first signing of the summer. Fortune impressed last season in the Premier League when scoring 5 times for beleaguered West Bromwich Albion in 17 appearances, after making his debut on 17th January for the Baggies in a home match against Middlesbrough, which Fortune scored to record a 3-1 victory. Now, City Independent expect reports to break later today confirming Marc-Antoine Fortune will complete his switch to Hull City instead of the other interested parties by signing a 3 year deal worth £25,000 a week. *Marcus Chantry* |* ** Associate Director* *Snr Product Manager - Macquarie Life* Level 14, 9 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, Australia *T* +61 2 8232 4259 | * **M* 0448 887 627 *E *_marcus.chan...@macquarie.com mailto:marcus.chan...@macquarie.com_ __ *P* *Please consider the environment before printing this email.* The information contained in this email is confidential.
