Looks like he will play.

He was substituted in the first match of the World Cup after 62 minutes and
didn't play again. Maybe his hacking cough at half time rang some warning
bells. Maybe it was because he had bought his own oranges that were
discovered to have been injected with vodka. Maybe an hour was long enough
for the coach to wait for some Cantona-style magic to change the game.
Maybe it was a lack of football for his club that made him too rusty.

Believe me, I would like nothing better than for him to establish himself
as our creative midfielder as it's just what's needed alongside Henry. If
Dave Jones has thrown his toys out of the pram and will leave in January, as
is the rumour, then we might not have any choice but to give him a run.

RE: [BTMO] Trouble [sec=unclassified]

2010-10-06 Thread Marcus Chantry
Never picked you as a crooner, but if that's your thing them I'm sure we
could find you an appropriate stage based on your talents (another
analogy there similar to differences between Old Trafford and Molineux).

Don't you find it curious that Milijas can perform at international
level (despite drinking whisky and smoking a pack a day) yet when asked
to play the run and tackle (aka assault/mug) tactics that Thick Mick
employs, it doesn't quite work.

Once more it seems Thick Mick isn't working with the resources he's got
(and bought) rather he's trying to force a scalpel to do a mallets job.

Yes. I am a singer in the sytle of Frank Sinatra, albeit at a much
lower level.

Can you get me a gig in Vegas please?

I think we can reach agreement on this. What about if we say:

Milijas is like a sh1te version of Cantona, who could change a game
with a special pass or flick if he had a lot more skill, didn't have a
bottle of whisky for breakfast and didn't chin forty fags a day.

Re: [BTMO] Trouble [sec=unclassified]

2010-10-06 Thread Steven Millward
He was substituted in the first match of the World Cup after 62 minutes and
didn't play again. Maybe his hacking cough at half time rang some warning
bells. Maybe it was because he had bought his own oranges that were
discovered to have been injected with vodka. Maybe an hour was long enough
for the coach to wait for some Cantona-style magic to change the game.
Maybe it was a lack of football for his club that made him too rusty.

Believe me, I would like nothing better than for him to establish himself as
our creative midfielder as it's just what's needed alongside Henry. If Dave
Jones has thrown his toys out of the pram and will leave in January, as is
the rumour, then we might not have any choice but to give him a run.
