I downloaded the sources from sourceforge.net/projects/pstoedit. I had
to patch them though. A don't really know how to issue a patch file so
here is what I modified from what I found on the Internet:
 * file dynload.cpp, line 141: #elif -- #else
 * file cppcomp.h, line after the first comments, top of the file : I added
 #include cstring
 #include cstdlib

It then buit successfully I it works. I send a bug report for the 3.50 version.

Thanks for your help in sourting this out.

This usually happens when one has TeX Live installed and ConTeXt

automatically. Hans' recipe should help though (run texexec --make

 This works ! Thanks a lot for your help.

 Regarding the post of David Rogers, this seems
 to be a problem which depends on the Context and/or
 Tikz distribution. I will inform Till Tantau, the tikz/pgf author,
 in case he can change something in the Tikz/Pgf package.

I have an impression that he has been very busy for some time now
(there are a few critical pending ConTeXt-related problems in CVS to
which he hasn't answered for a really long time now). There are a few
more skilled people on the mailing list though who have the rights to
commit to repository.

It is still worth a try to ask him or maybe to leave a bug report on
sourceforge page. (I CC-ed him in the previous mail without expecting
him to answer.)

Hi,

I am also using Context on ubuntu - and it works fine here. There is one
small change I like to do:

 luatools --generate

is creating ~/luatex-cache. As this cache is not hidden it appears on the
desktop. Is it possible to change that directory into a hidden directory

Thanks

[NTG-context] Adding supplemental information to entry in list of figures

2010-08-20 Thread Elias Oltmanns
Hi all,

\nolist{}, I understand, is used in headings and presumably in captions
as well to exclude parts of the heading / caption from the automatically
generated list of contents or floats. Now, my question is what the
canonical way would be to add information to an entry in a list of
figures that doesn't appear in the caption to that figure; indeed, it
might be desirable sometimes to specify the entry in the list of figures
independently of the caption, very much like the LaTeX command
\caption[entry text]{caption text} does.

Thanks for your help,

Elias
