Green in that case means that someone needs to fix build.sh to return
a non-zero error when the build fails :)
(I hope that I fixed the buildbot configuration when changes happen in
trunk. But I will need a test.)

It did work in the past. (You can also check the history.)

LuaJIT build on OpenBSD seems to be broken (and build.sh doesn't fail

[NTG-context] Bibliography sort and name-hyphenation issues

I expect to see a bibliography (reference list in APA terms) in the order:

   d'Alembert
   Darwin
   Dee
   Defoe
   de Montaigne
   Digby
   Quérard

But the actual result is quite different (see attached), with de
Montaigne following Digby, no hyphen between the initials in the Quérard
entry, and an odd handling of d’Alembert. (The authorhash does have the
hyphen for the Quérard entry.)

So, the question is, what can be done to get the desired (APA defined)
order (alphabetize letter-by-letter, ignoring spaces, capitalization,
hyphens,  apostrophes, periods, and accent marks)?

Beyond that, what can be done to get Montaigne sorted with M entries
(displayed as “Montaigne, M. de” or “de Montaigne, M.”)?

Re: [NTG-context] How to configure context command in Emacs

2018-10-24 Thread Mohammad Hossein Bateni
I have a hacky solution, which I haven't tested in a while.

Make a shell script called "mycontext" somewhere in the PATH. Include the
following in it:

#!/bin/bash

. ~/context/tex/setuptex

context $@

Make it executable. And then use "mycontext" as the TeX command inside
emacs. For example, you can refer to AucTeX's documentation for that.

[NTG-context] How to configure context command in Emacs

2018-10-24 Thread Jan U. Hasecke
Hello,

I hope there are some Emacs users out there. ;-)

I can use emacs with context-mode when I start the program like this:

. ~/context/tex/setuptex ; emacs &

I could not find a way to set this in my emacs init file. Neither of the
ways described here worked for me:

https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/ExecPath

I set this in .bashrc:

if [-f ~/context/tex/setuptex ]; then
   . ~/context/tex/setuptex
fi

to always have context available in a shell and in emacs if I start it
from bash.

Starting Emacs via the start menu of Gnome results in an Emacs that does
not know ConTeXt.

I found some hints how to source .bashrc in emacs but this only affects
the emacs shell not the command calling from within AucTeX.

Has anyone found a solution for this?

juh

[NTG-context] Reset bibliography numbering

2018-10-24 Thread Martin Hasoň
Hi all,

I want to use a custom bibliography for every section in document. It is
possible to starting the numbering from 1 for each section?

\setupbtxrendering[default][
repeat=yes,
continue=yes,
method=local,
numbering=yes,
criterium=section,
]

\usebtxdataset[default][bib.buffer]
\starttext
\startsection[title=Section 1]

\placelistofpublications
\stopsection

\startsection[title=Section 2]
  \cite[b] \cite[a] \cite[c]
  \placelistofpublications

Actual output:

Section 1

[NTG-context] Problem updating 32b version

2018-10-24 Thread Procházka Lukáš Ing .

Hello,

I encountered problem updating ConTeXt.

I'm still using 32b built due to some deps on 3rd party libs (32b, too).

Running 'first-setup.bat' doesn't create 'tex\texmf-mswin\' directory as
usually.

I also modified the first-setup.bat to avoid 64b platform testing - see the
first-setup.txt attached (.bat renamed to .txt due to mail filters).

The 'tex' dir has now:

texmf\
texmf-cache\
texmf-context\
texmf-fonts\
texmf-local\
texmf-modules\
texmf-project\
texmf-win64\
setuptex
setuptex.bat
setuptex.csh

but it used to be:

texmf\
texmf-cache\
texmf-context\
texmf-fonts\
texmf-local\
texmf-modules\
texmf-mswin\ WAS HERE
texmf-project\
texmf-win64\
setuptex
setuptex.bat
setuptex.csh

The log (first-setup.bat > Upd.log) may be downloaded here (~700 kB):

http://leteckaposta.cz/260806806

Could anyone test obtaining 32b version of ConTeXt?

TIA.

Best regards,

Lukas

echo.
echo.
echo When you want to use context, you need to initialize the tree with:
echo.
echo %OWNPATH%tex\setuptex.bat %OWNPATH%tex
echo.
echo You can associate this command with a shortcut to the cmd prompt.
echo.
echo Alternatively you can add %OWNPATH%tex\texmf-%PLATFORM%\bin to your PATH
echo variable.
echo.
echo If you run from an editor you can specify the full path to mtxrun.exe:
echo.
echo. %OWNPATH%tex\texmf-%PLATFORM%\bin\mtxrun.exe --autogenerate --script
context --autopdf ...
echo.

:ruby

echo okay > ok.log

ruby -e "File.delete('ok.log')"

if not exist "ok.log" goto end

echo.
echo The distribution has been downloaded but if you want to run pdfTeX and/or
XeTeX you
echo need to run this script with the following directive:
echo.
echo --platform=all
echo.
echo You then also need to install Ruby in order to be able to use texexec.
After
echo installing Ruby you can run this script again which will give you the
formats
echo needed, or you can run:
echo.
echo texexec --make --pdftex
echo texexec --make --xetex
echo.

:okay

[NTG-context] Hardcoded file extensions in typescript

2018-10-24 Thread Henri Menke

Dear devs,

Motivated by https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/456435 I found that the
type-imp-source.mkiv typescript hardcodes the .ttf extension for the font
files. However, TeX Live distributes those files with the .otf extensions,
hence they are not found. Please fix!

Cheers, Henri
