That is the context format from teTeX, last regenerated on August 3,
and not the new one. Have a look at

it should give you some hints on how to actually start using the new

[NTG-context] Q about mathml || tex-native?

2006-03-17 Thread Alexander Lazic
Hi,

i plan to write a math-booklet and have a question about the
math-modules in contex.

What is the preferd way to deal with math in contex?

MathML (xml-way) or
\*formula (tex-way, from my point of view)

I'am plan the outputs to pdfs.

There are some complex (integrals, complex numbers, ...), formulas and
electionical circuits figures.

I'am not sure what is the 'best' way ;-)

Please can you tell me your thoughts and opinions ;-)

item-text, i think with one option from \setupitemize but which

[NTG-context] [MathML] other seperator then '+'

2005-09-18 Thread Alexander Lazic

Hi,

how can i change the '+' into '*'?

What i mean is when i write this:

---
\enableregime[il1]% choose input encoding: il1 is ISO Latin 1 (ISO 8859-1), same as
win
\mainlanguage[de] % language mode: changes typesetting rules, quote signs etc.

\setuppapersize [A4][A4]
\setupcolors[state=start]

\usemodule[newmat]
\usemodule[mathml]

\setupMMLappearance[sign][reduction=no]
\setupMMLappearance[function][reduction=no]
\setupMMLappearance[power][reduction=no]
%%\setupMMLappearance[relation][aligen=first]

\starttext

\startXMLdata
math
 apply in/
   cn type=complex 2 sep/ 5 /cn
   complexes/
 /apply
/math
\stopXMLdata

\stoptext
---

I get:

2 + 5i C

but what i need is:

j * omega || with 'times/'

I'am very new with context sorry i this is a 'trivial' question.

Greetings

I'll be back ;-)

I'am back ;-)

Thanx for the hint wit the circuit_macros, it was the solution which
used and it works great ;-))

Do you mean the package that is (incorrectly) archived as
macros/generic/diagrams/circ/ ?

Yes.

Circ looks fairly short and low-level, so it would probably not be too
hard to convert into a module. However, is circ the best package for
the job? Are there Type1 versions of the fonts, for instance?

I think here are some packages for circuit diagrams.
Know anybody a package witch i can use easily with context?

What do you mean with:

'... not be too hard to convert ...'

i'am worked with latex in a high level way.
I don't know to many about 'plain TeX', sorry.
