Re: [Nuke-users] Zdefocus
ZDefocus's focal point is not animatable, but the focal plane is, which can achieve the same result (the focal point is just used to control where in the viewer to sample the depth to populate the focal plane knob). If you're trying to expression link the focal point to a tracker (for example), you can do this by using an expression like this in the focal plane knob: [sample this depth.Z Tracker1.tracks.1.track_x Tracker1.tracks.1.track_y] This samples the depth.Z channel at the location of Tracker1's track 1. I hope that helps! Sam On 12/09/2014 20:49, Danimator wrote: Does anyone have info on how to do a follow focus with ZDefocus? [Nuke-users] Disappearing nodes but text remains?
Had a look - can't seem to find any hint of this online anywhere. My nodes are disappearing in all scripts this morning. Sort of. Sometimes they'll pop up for a minute and then disappear a moment later, but it's just the geometry of the node that's missing in action - the node text is still there and still selectable. But like the squares of the read nodes are gone, and just the little thumbnails are floating. Text for other nodes is just hanging in thin air without their usual squares/circles/other geo backgrounds In my windows shell, I see the following message: QGLShader::link: No errors. this is repeated a few times. I suspect I mucked up something - I had to install a couple of things (Houdini, RV) and also updated my nvidia driver for Houdini last night. But I've tried rolling back to the old driver I had on there, and reinstalling Nuke 8v5 and switching to 8v6. Same prob. Any ideas? I'll hit up support as well but wondering if this has hit anyone else. ___ Nuke-users mailing list Nuke-users@support.thefoundry.co.uk, http://forums.thefoundry.co.uk/ http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users
[Nuke-users] Re: Disappearing nodes but text remains?
Seems to have been fixed by tweaking some settings in the Nvidia control panel for Nuke. I think the broadcast monitor was stealing some of my mojo and throwing my primary monitor into some sort of mode that didn't like openGL. Setting primary monitor to performance mode seems to have fixed it. Weird.
