The bird was first found on the 28th by Betty Hughes and Nick Leone. Seen the same day by Jeff Bolsinger. Here is a paste of his eBird post. Eileen saw it the next day. [nysbirds-l] Evening grosbeaks and redpolls
Since January we have had evening grosbeaks and redpolls at our feeders. This has been daily since 1/27 except we were away for ten days in early March for which we have no data and two days after our return.Today I counted 32 Evening grosbeaks at peak and I would estimate at least 100 redpolls.
