[onap-discuss] Final Preparation For ONAP Project Creation Reviews For June 8th and 9th

2017-06-06 Thread Phil Robb
Hello ONAP Developer Community:

I am looking very forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at our second Face
to Face meeting hosted by China Mobile in Beijing.

We will be attempting to get through as many Project Creation Reviews as
possible during this two day event. Given that we have around 30 project
proposals and only about 6.5 hours allotted for the reviews we are going to
need to be very efficient with our time.

We have created a wiki page to break-down the Creation Review time slots
into 15 minute intervals. It is located here:
https://wiki.onap.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=6590432

If you are a "Project Contact" for an ONAP project, and you want your
project to be reviewed during Face to Face meeting, please find an empty
time slot on that wiki page and enter your information there.
** Please remember to have reviewed the "Initial Project Proposal Feedback
>From The TSC" page and ensure that the questions/comments raised there have
been addressed in your project proposal.
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Initial+Project+Proposal+Feedback+From+the+TSC

For ONAP TSC members, please re-review both the Project Feedback page, and
the Project Proposal page for each project to be reviewed in preparation of
the Creation Reviews.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best,.

Phil.

After you make those changes that Brian indicated below, you’ll also need to
restart your local docker daemon process. For example, on Ubuntu, you’d run:

Hi Catherine,

Thanks for the info. In the APP-C readme.md [1], to docker login/pull from
Nexus repo, it is assumed to have Nexus certificate in
/usr/local/ca-certificates/ path. I do not have any Nexus Certificates in that
path. Is it because of this that I get an SSL error when I am trying to do
docker login/pull?

Please let me know where to find the Nexus Certificate to add into the
specified path so that docker login/pull works correctly.

Thanks,

Shashank.

Hi Manisha and Colin,

I post a proposal about External System Register in ONAP several days ago. The
project scope and description can be found in this wiki page
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/External+System+Register.
  The feedback from the community suggests that there are certain levels of
repetition of technology and algorithms between ESR and A While we agree
with that, we also think there're also some area A haven't covered in its
scope such as the registration and health check of external system, the model
definition of VNFM and EMS.

That's why I'm reaching out today. I would like to discuss the overlapping
scope and the potential of cooperation between ESR and A

What do you think?

LiZi

主 题 :Re: [onap-tsc] [onap-discuss] Project Proposal: ExternalSystemRegister

LiZi,
Thanks for putting the proposal together. The TSC will be continuing a review
cycle over the next 2 weeks.
I realize the difference and the need of having a system register for external
communications,
but the question is whether this should be a separate project that may cause
further dilution.
If the technology and the algorithms used for supporting ESR are similar to
others like those
used in A, but the type of data is different then I don’t see the need for
separate systems.

I can see many situations like life cycle management of VNFs using closed loop
automation where
doing post health checks are critical after repairing a failure. So having both
platform and external system
data available in one place are key.

In general, the TSC will look very closely on projects that need merger to help
unify the community
and strengthen the developer ecosystem. You are getting good feedback from the
community and
I suggest you look closer.

Regards,
Mazin

Hi Avi,

ESR will not only store and manage configuration of VIM, but also the
configuration of VNFM/SDNC/EMS. It provides a service to centralized

will be used by SO/SDC/VF-C etc.
When comes to multi-vim, we suggest that multi-vim using ESR as a dependency

this point, we can have a further discussion.

[onap-discuss] [ONAP-AAI] AAI data not fully display in GET

2017-06-06 Thread Eric Au
Hi all,

As I understand, AAI is model driven using the OXM file found in
opt/app/aai/bundleconfig/etc/oxm. From the OXM, I came to understand that the
pserver model payload should resemble the following:

{
  "hostname": "{mandatory}",
  "ptnii-equip-name": "{optional field}",
  "number-of-cpus": "{optional field}",
  "disk-in-gigabytes": "{optional field}",
  "ram-in-megabytes": "{optional field}",
  "equip-type": "{optional field}",
  "equipment-vendor": "{optional field}",
  "equipment-model": "{optional field}",
  "fqdn": "{optional field}",
  "ipv4-oam-address": "{optional field}",
  "serial-number": "{optional field}",
  "pserver-id": "{optional field}",
  "internet-topology": "{optional field}",
  "pserver-name2" : "{optional field}",
  "purpose": "{optional field}"
}

I am able to PUT the data into AAI with a 201 Created response code. However,
when I perform a GET on the pservers (cloud-infrastructure/pservers) , I end up
with only a subset of the information I input.

http://org.openecomp.aai.inventory/v8;>

test

How do I get the full data set back from AAI?

Thanks
Eric
