Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Current Outstanding Fines/Lost

2018-11-09 Thread Willis, Beth
Hi Elizabeth,

We have two separate report templates, one for overdue fines and one for
fees owed for lost or long overdue items.

They are very simple reports that include the circulation date (year), the
total balance owed and the number of patrons associated with the billed
items.

The filters include: circulation date (range), billing location and last
billing type.

If this sounds relevant and you need more information, please let me know.

Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Reports - circulation count by call number

2017-03-21 Thread Willis, Beth
Hi Tricia,

We have a report template that filters on owning library, checkout date
(range) and copy location. The last filter could easily be dropped if not
relevant for your library.

I have attached screenshots of our template configuration.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I hope this helps.

Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Error message on a workstation - what does it mean?

2017-03-08 Thread Willis, Beth
Hi Jennifer,

I have a thought that *may* be of some help.

When you create a serial subscription, you also need to create a
'distribution.' One option that you set in a distribution is the "Summary
Method."

This setting indicates how you want your holdings to display in the
catalog. If you choose "Use record entry only" (e.g. serial record entry)
you are telling the system that you want to display the holdings from your
MFHD record. So, I suppose you could run into problems if you choose this
option but do not have a MFHD for the title.

This is just a guess, though. I haven't tried to test this yet. As I
mentioned, I have never seen that error before.

2017-03-07 Thread Willis, Beth
Hi Jennifer,

I have never seen that specific error message, but I think that 'sre' is
referring to serial record entry. In Evergreen, serial record entry refers
to the MFHD (MARC Format for Holdings Data) records. Do your serial titles
have MFHD records?

Sounds like you have figured out why your report was blank. To see the
report SQL, when viewing your report output, just click on the "Debugging

Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Acq report of invoices with totals

2015-11-19 Thread Willis, Beth
Here is the query for NOBLE's report of invoices with total spent
(excluding charges).

This report displays: internal invoice id, vendor invoice id, invoice date,
provider name, total amount, and count of items included.

The report filters on invoice date, receiver and provider id.

I hope this helps.

Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Acq report of invoices with totals

2015-11-18 Thread Willis, Beth
Hi Janet,

We have a report that shows the total amount spent per invoice, along with
the total number of items purchased. But, this report does not include
additional charges. We have to run a separate report for those. I was not
able to create one report that would include both. If someone else has, I
would love to see the query.

If you would like more information about our report templates, just let me
know.

Thanks.
