All -

Before I try searching the vast web and coming up empty, I was wondering if
anyone has created OPAC user guides for Evergreen for your location? It
would be great to look at some examples before I plunge into creating my own
from scratch. We have one for our former online catalog if you want to see
what I am talking about:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By-INd8BEwy-S010d3I5Zl9wTU0/view?usp=sharing

I'd be grateful if there were others to look at. Anyone have specific
guides for the my account feature?

Thanks so much!

Jennifer

2015-06-26 Thread Jennifer Pringle (Project Sitka)

Hello Jennifer,

We use the OPAC chapter of our manual for our patrons -
http://docs.sitka.bclibraries.ca/Sitka/current/html/opac.html

It's currently for 2.6 but we'll be updating it to 2.8 on July 13th
when our upgrade is complete.

Hope that helps,

Jennifer

Re: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Patron guides to the OPAC

2015-06-26 Thread Andrea Buntz Neiman
We have a very very basic Catalog FAQ page here on our public website
(and linked from within our OPAC):

http://www.kentcountylibrary.org/using/catalogfaq.php

It's short, but as befitting its name of FAQ it reflects the issues
that we get the most questions about.
