Stick your head in the sand and ignore the fact that OpenStack governance has a huge trust problem, that the product has stability and compatibility issues. Attack me for criticizing OpenStack when on a daily basis I am doing a lot of work to get into real world deployments. In the mean time, I know people on this list heaping plenty of public praise on OpenStack who are actively pushing people in private towards alternatives. Re: [Openstack] Angry People and OpenStack
This should have the kibosh put on it, like, right now. I really do not see what good could come of this discussion on the mailing list. I, personally, know nothing about the details of this supposed email, her running, or her withdrawal, but I see no point in theory-crafting on the mailing list about a supposed scandal... This entire article reads as something specifically written to cause people to take sides and talking about it on the mailing list can serve no purpose that I see other than causing fragmentation, rumor-mongering, and anger. Maybe I am wrong, but this should die here... I'd go further and say that regardless of who the person is, or the situation this list and this community has been pretty on the ball in ensuring that people treat each other with respect. There have been a number of incidents in which folks have wandered into questionable territory on this and I've felt the community has responded fairly well with due attention and reasoned response.
